Coffin Ed Johnson was angry:

before some drugged-up killer
has got Digger.'
This was going to have to be a solo effort.
Badge or no badge, with his partner
on the danger list, Coffin Ed had no
plans to stay home and watch TV. And if the narcotics syndicate thought
they were tough - they ain't seen nothin' yet!
